My wife (Jacqueline Evans) and I have recently returned from a holiday to India and Nepal in February this year which you organised for us and we have to say you did an excellent job We travelled on the Deccan Odyssey during our stay in India and then toured Nepal. The journey and experience on the train was just fantastic (as was everything else) and we have decided to return to it in 2020 to do another tour of Southern India. Because you did such an amazing job for us with the last holiday we would like you to please book for us another journey on Deccan Odyssey and add Kerala with it.
Thought you would be interested in how our trip went…The Maharajas Express Gems of India was very nice trip and the service was A class. We were very happy with all guides and drivers for rest of our trip to Nepal and in Delhi . Absolutely, could not have been nicer or more accommodating , Hotels were all very good in Nepal and in Delhi Leela Palace was amazing. The hotel, guide and driver in Mumbai were good, as was the guide and driver in Dehli.
The hotel in Delhi was ok and the Baluchi restaurant was superb.

Just letting you know that we had another great trip, everything ran like clockwork with no problems! The hotels were of a very high standard as usual could not fault a thing! The Aureum Palace in Bagan was our favourite it was out of this world also the balloon ride was well worth doing,a must if you are in Bagan. The Burmese people were so friendly and there was so much to see and do. Myanmar is somewhere we would recommend to everyone to go. Thanks for organizing another great holiday! Regards
Just returned from our holiday in India, just a quick note to say all your recommendations and itinerary were all we could have hoped for. Your staff, drivers, and tour guides all extremely helpful and most knowledgable . l have to however pick out one person who helped to make this trip memorable. Mr Rishi. In a sea of madness he took it all in his stride. Very helpful all hours of the day. And his knowledge on the temples and places of interest we every bit as good as the guides. You should consider him for this role !!! I have already been asked to pass on you details from friends who have seen my video clips. And I have said you charges are most reasonable. Good afternoon, Would like to thank your office to conjunction with UK Tailormade Journeys Ltd for an amazing holiday to southern India from 20th November to 8th December. All aspects were well planned and the driver, Anbu excellent. Hotels and guides all different but equally impressive. As 2 women travelling we felt safe and secure at all times. So many experiences to look back on from palaces, temples, dance performances, elephant rides, boat trips and massages. Can thoroughly recommend to anyone.
We arrived back from our tour of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia on Friday. I wanted to write and thank you for arranging a wonderful trip. The organisation from start to finish was first class. We were met at every airport by our guides and the transfer to all the hotels and the drivers and vehicles were brilliant. In the past you’ve arranged trips to India and Vietnam for my wife – Heleen Mathijssen- and to Sri Lanka for our whole family. All these trips were fantastic experiences.
The Service, the creative programming and overall mix of activities fulfilled the mantra of Incredible India.
We have just returned from Vietnam and wanted to drop you a short note to let you know that we really enjoyed our trip. We were so impressed with everything that you organised for us not only the hotels, which were all fantastic, but also the transport and transfers between locations and at every destination and city. Absolutely everything went to plan with no hiccups. A special mention must go to the extremely helpful and attentive tour guides who were so knowledgeable and looked after us so well ensuring that we had maximum enjoyment during our holiday. They were all brilliant but a special mention to Hoang Minh Tien who looked after us in Hue and Hoi An for his attention to detail and the care in which he explained both the ancient and modern history of the area. Here at last with a huge thank you to all for being so efficient. This was the first time we had an organised holiday abroad. It was wonderful, extremely well organised. The guides were all very professionnal and helpful. We had nice comfortable cars. The hotels were all excellent, we particularly liked the Laos hotels so refined. When we didn’t like the room in our last hotel in the holiday resort in Vietnam, you immediately arranged for us to be moved or upgraded. We were upgraded the next day enjoyed the rest of our stay. We have nothing but praise for the service we received and are contemplating our next trip. E. & B Charlton
I am safely returned from my month in India in one piece. The trip was fantastic all round and very well organised, with all the agents / drivers / guides in the right place at the right time etc and of a high standard. The itinerary certainly afforded a wide cross section of different places in the country, and has wetted my appetite to go back and explore again, perhaps in more detail in some areas. I particularly enjoyed the Heritage hotels, the most interesting being in Bissau Palace in Jaipur and The Castle in Mandawa. Of the more modern hotels on the route, the Golden Tulip in Udaipur has good facilities. Thanks for setting it all up. I will not hesitate to recommend your service to others travelling in the area.

We had a great time, the hotels were excellent, the organised trips educational and enjoyable and above all the driver Wickey easy to get on with and affable. It is now 2 weeks since we returned from our visit to the Golden Triangle and Goa. It was a fantastic trip and everything was very well organized both in the UK and India side. The choice of hotels was excellent. We were very well looked after in India, the drivers and guides were excellent and everything went to plan.
